Hello, world!

The title of this article hearkens back to my days as a software engineer. It’s common practice (and a pretty long standing tradition) to always start learning a new programming language by making the computer print out the seemingly innocuous “Hello, world!” text. It’s usually a pretty easy first start, and lets you very quickly dip your toes into something before really flexing the toolset to see what you can make it do.
