Audiobooks are quickly becoming one of the most popular ways to consume written content. The convenience of being able to listen to a skilled professional storyteller or narrator guide you through a manuscript is a sublime experience that allows the listener to enjoy content that they may otherwise be unable to commit adequate time to.

Diversity in Characters and Genres

Even with non-fiction, the narrator is a character and needs to be treated as a guide through the story. Marathon, Not a Sprint

One of the challenges with audiobooks in particular is that they are generally an exceptionally long form of narration. Often clocking in at five to fifteen finished hours of audio or more, the turnaround time on an audiobook is generally much longer than that of any other form of voiceover. The invoicing process is also generally handled in a different way so if you’re interested in having an audiobook produced it is best to start the conversation early to get an idea of pricing, estimated based on word count and the genre or style of the manuscript.
