Rob has voiced several different types of characters from lawful good heroes, to truly evil villains, to creepy sleazeballs and everything in between. His ability to inhabit the headspace of characters completely unlike himself allows him to provide whatever style of character you need for your animation, audiobook, audio drama, or video game project. Rob has portrayed some truly heroic as well as truly despicable characters throughout his career across multiple entertainment genres.

Diverse Yet Authentic

While Rob delights in bringing a wide array of characters to life, he does prefer if he is cast authentically. He feels the way to truly capture an authentic performance from a person who is of a different ethnicity than him is to legitimately try to find a voice actor that is authentic to that background. Rob tends to read the specs fairly thoroughly and if he feels a character would be better served by a person of a different race, gender, ethnicity, etc. he will always inform the buyer of this and will only submit an audition if the buyer specifically requests that he try to fill that role.
